Be on the right side of history - not the one the idiots march for

As protesters in London walked with banners supporting Iran that said ‘be on the right side of history’ the IDF are doing just that. Being on the right side of history. By the time we woke this morning the US had decided they also wanted to be on the right side of history.

When a country vows to destroy you and holds the potential to do so, you do not wait for potential to become reality. The twits on social media who point out that Israel has nuclear weapons forget the bit that they are not threatening to destroy any nation. Not the Gazans and Palestinians, not the Lebanease, not the Yemenis, not Iran. At no point has that ever been an aim of Israel. Stop attacking us and all the conflicts stop.

For all the painting of Israel as the aggressor by those so engulfed in their idea or ideology of blaming Jews for every evil and trying to rid the world of them, whilst telling us how good they are, the reality is exactly the opposite.

Israel does not start wars. It defends itself. The failings of Oct 7 are in part because it tried to live alongside regimes it should not have to. Peace was offered but not taken so many times by those whose aim was not peace ever.

Israel has stood up and is now fighting for everyone, whether you like it or not. As ballistic missiles in massive numbers have been fired and fallen on Israel, they have caused death and injury to many indiscriminately. Jews, Arabs, women, children the bombs do not care. A mosque destroyed. A hospital hit. No one cared when last year Iran rained bombs down on Israel, this year they march for Iran.

But Iran is not for them. Iran laughs on the face of gays for Palestine and all those leftist movements. Hell, it kills women for showing their hair. And as for ‘de-escalation ‘ and diplomacy, that shows how ignorant these people, even governments, are of this regime.

Arabs and Israelis understand that some things have to be dealt with this way. Because strength is what they understand. And that no amount of diplomacy with the Iranian regime is ever going to be anything concrete. A regime that vows to kill not only Israel but America is not suddenly changing its mind because men in suits sat round a table.

I fervently hope that casualties were few in Iran. I thank god that casualties are not higher in Israel, without their massive spending on defence systems the toll could have been millions as bombs rain down on highly populated cities. The people of Israel are suffering but strong but it takes its toll every day and night.

As America enters the frey and hopefully has wiped out this regime’s nuclear capability, can we maybe hope that the end of this conflict is near. But we will not forget 53 hostages that need to come home from Gaza now. And we will not forget that had the world supported Israel on Oct 8 we could have been on a far better place now.
